300 New Jobs Headed to Harleysville
New manufacturing plant will create hundreds of jobs while supporting the booming data center and energy industries.
Harleysville is set to become a key hub for advanced manufacturing as Mission Critical Group expands its operations with a new 266,000-square-foot facility at 1600 Delp Drive. The Texas-based company plans to create 300 new jobs in manufacturing, engineering, welding, operations, electrical work, and supply chain management.
The company began limited operations in May and expects full production to begin in September. To support the expansion, Mission Critical Group is actively recruiting employees to help build electrical infrastructure used by data centers, utilities, healthcare systems, and other critical industries.
The Harleysville location will work alongside the company’s existing North Wales operation, strengthening a growing manufacturing network in Montgomery County. The expansion reflects increasing demand for power equipment as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data center development continue to grow across the Northeast.
Local leaders see the investment as another sign that Montgomery County remains an attractive destination for advanced manufacturing and skilled workers, bringing new career opportunities and long-term economic growth to the region. |
