Municipal officials in Norristown announced Wednesday that a section of West Marshall Street near Markley Street will temporarily close later this month as SEPTA begins infrastructure work. The road closure is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. on March 20 and remain in effect until 8 p.m. on March 23. According to officials, SEPTA crews will be upgrading the Marshall Street rail grade crossing during that time. While the work is underway, traffic will be redirected along Astor Street, Elm Street, and Markley Street. Drivers traveling through the area should expect heavier traffic than usual and allow extra time for possible delays. |
