Growing Before the Harvest
Strong Roots. Great Harvest.
Have you ever worked hard at something and wondered if it was making any difference? I look at the grapevine in my yard, and that’s exactly what comes to mind. It’s growing fast, climbing higher every week, but there isn’t a single grape on it yet.
At first glance, it seems like nothing is happening. But underneath the surface, the vine is doing the most important work of all—building deep roots, strengthening its branches, and preparing for a harvest that isn’t ready to appear.
Life often works the same way. Whether you’re growing a business, learning a new skill, improving your finances, or rebuilding after a setback, the most valuable progress is usually invisible. Success isn’t always measured by today’s results—it’s measured by staying faithful to the process.
So if you’re feeling discouraged because you haven’t seen the “fruit” yet, don’t quit. Keep watering. Keep growing. Keep believing. The strongest harvests belong to those who were willing to grow before anyone else could see the results. |
