Wawa loyalists across the street viewed the arrival with some skepticism, noting Sheetz’s western PA roots but acknowledging that heightened competition could benefit everyone.

No matter their allegiance, residents agree: the legendary Pennsylvania convenience store rivalry has officially arrived in Montgomery County.

An 18-year-old was killed and three others were injured early Saturday in a devastating crash following a police pursuit along Route 422 in Montgomery County.

Authorities report that the incident began in Limerick Township when state police tried to stop an eastbound Kia over traffic violations.

The driver did not stop, leading officers on a high-speed chase into Upper Merion Township.

The pursuit ended in tragedy when the Kia collided with a concrete highway barrier.

The 18-year-old driver died at the scene, while three male passengers suffered injuries and were rushed to the hospital.

Officials are investigating the possibility that the vehicle was stolen. The case is still under active investigation by local authorities.
