Trivia Question❓Which famous inventor and Founding Father lived in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, where he conducted experiments and invented various contraptions in his workshop? Answer at the bottom of the newsletter |
Montgomery County is teaming up with neighboring counties in a new regional effort aimed at boosting economic growth, attracting businesses, and creating more career opportunities across Southeastern Pennsylvania. The newly launched Greater Philadelphia Growth Partnership brings together Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties to focus on growing the regional economy and making the area more competitive for employers and investment.
County leaders say the partnership is designed to help create stronger job opportunities while supporting industries that are expected to grow in the years ahead, including healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, and technology. By working together instead of separately, officials hope the counties can better compete with other major metro areas around the country for new companies, talent, and economic investment.
Supporters of the initiative believe the collaboration could help strengthen local communities by bringing more jobs closer to home, supporting workforce development, and helping existing businesses expand. The partnership has already received millions in startup funding from regional organizations and business leaders to help move the effort forward.
For Montgomery County residents and business owners, the initiative could mean new opportunities for employment, business growth, and long-term investment throughout the region as leaders work to position Southeastern Pennsylvania for future success.
