Trivia Question❓

If you heard that Netflix House in King of Prussia “sold for $60 million,” don’t worry: Netflix isn’t packing up.

What changed hands was the more than 100,000-square-foot building at 180 N. Gulph Road that houses Netflix House. Missouri-based EPR Properties, which invests in experience focused properties, purchased the building for $60 million. Netflix had already signed a 10-year lease for the property, and its presence was reportedly part of what attracted the new owner. (Inquirer.com)

So, what exactly is Netflix House?

Think of it as Netflix jumping off your television and into real life. The permanent, year-round entertainment destination lets visitors step into experiences inspired by popular Netflix shows and movies. The King of Prussia location features immersive attractions, virtual reality, games and Netflix-themed mini golf. Visitors can also shop for merchandise and dine at Netflix Bites, a restaurant serving food inspired by Netflix programming. (Netflix)

You do not need a Netflix subscription to visit, and admission to Netflix House is free. Some of the larger interactive experiences require separate tickets.

For Montgomery County, the sale is another sign that King of Prussia is becoming about more than shopping. The area is increasingly blending retail with attractions that offer experiences visitors can’t get from their couches.

Artificial intelligence is changing the world at an incredible pace, but the next major innovation may not be creating smarter AI—it may be making the technology behind it more efficient.

As conversations continue in Montgomery County about future data centers and the growing demand for computing power, one challenge stands out: energy. AI systems require enormous amounts of electricity, which is driving companies to rethink how these facilities are designed and operated.

Instead of simply building bigger data centers, technology companies are investing in smarter ones. New systems can automatically manage power, reduce waste, and improve cooling, allowing servers to do more while using less energy. The goal is to support the rapid growth of AI without placing unnecessary strain on local power grids.

For businesses and residents alike, this is an important trend to watch. The future of technology won’t just depend on faster computers—it will depend on finding smarter, more sustainable ways to power them. As AI continues to expand, the communities that successfully balance innovation with responsible planning will be the ones best prepared for what’s next.

Tip of The Day

Explore a Hidden Green Gem: Green Lane Park's Lesser-Known Trails

Most Montgomery County residents have heard of Green Lane Park, but few venture beyond the main reservoir overlook. Today, try the Hemlock Point Trail on the park's western side a quieter, wooded stretch that hugs the water's edge and rewards you with a near-wilderness feel without the weekend crowds. Pack a pair of binoculars, because the cove near the old boat launch is a reliable spot for great blue herons and osprey, especially in the morning hours.

Pro tip: park at the Deep Creek Road lot rather than the main entrance it puts you directly at the trailhead and cuts out the extra half-mile of pavement walking. The loop is under four miles, making it an easy before-work or after-school outing any day of the week.

Last week, we focused on adding more color to your plate. Check out last week's article here.  This week, we’re keeping it just as simple: add one crunchy food to one meal each day.

Why crunch? Crunchy foods can add texture, make meals feel more satisfying, and often give you an easy way to work in more fruits, vegetables, nuts, or seeds.

Having yogurt for breakfast? Add a few walnuts or sliced apples.
Eating a sandwich for lunch? Add cucumber, lettuce, or bell peppers.
Making chicken for dinner? Try roasted green beans, carrots, or a crisp side salad.

You don’t have to overhaul your meals. The goal is still the same: add something helpful instead of focusing on what you need to take away.

THIS WEEK’S DIG IN CHALLENGE
Choose one meal each day and add one crunchy fruit, vegetable, nut, or seed.

Bonus challenge: Try a crunchy food you don’t normally eat.  Small changes count. Keep building your plate one simple addition at a time.

Homegrown History: The Sullivan Brothers’ Historic Night for Philadelphia Union
Norristown roots, MLS records, and a big win for the hometown brothers
A pair of soccer-playing brothers with deep roots in Norristown recently made unforgettable Major League Soccer history.

On September 9, Cavan and Quinn Sullivan earned their very first MLS starts together, helping lead the Philadelphia Union to a commanding 5–0 victory over FC Cincinnati at Subaru Park.

During the blowout, the talented siblings pulled off a nearly unprecedented feat by both recording assists on the same goal twice in a single match. According to official Major League Soccer records, the Sullivans are only the third set of brothers in league history to share assists on one goal, and the first brother duo ever to do it twice in the same game.

The brothers were a major force throughout the night. Quinn Sullivan added a penalty kick goal late in the first half, while 16 year old Cavan Sullivan finished with three impressive assists, helping teammate Bruno Damiani secure a hat trick.

For soccer fans across Montgomery County, it was a proud hometown moment a reminder that two local brothers who once played the game together as kids are now making professional history side by side
