Trivia Question❓

What famous Montgomery County, PA shopping destination holds the record for having more retail shopping space

Answer at the bottom of the newsletter

It’s easy to think cleaning requires hours, but the biggest difference often comes from a few simple daily habits. Spending just five minutes each day can keep your home looking fresh and make your weekend chores much easier.

Start by wiping kitchen counters after every meal to prevent sticky buildup. Put shoes in a designated spot by the door to reduce dirt tracked through the house. Empty small trash cans before they’re overflowing, and take one minute to wipe down your bathroom sink before bed.

Another great habit? Put things away instead of putting them down. Returning items to their proper place immediately helps prevent clutter from piling up.

Of course, even the best habits can’t replace a professional deep clean. That’s where Monco Cleaning Pros comes in. Whether you need a one-time refresh, recurring service, or help preparing for guests, our trusted cleaning professionals can give your home the detailed attention it deserves.

A cleaner home doesn’t happen all at once—it happens one small habit at a time. And when life gets busy, we’re here to take care of the rest.

Care & Share Plans Move to New Harleysville Home

More space. Better access. Greater impact for the community.

After more than five decades in the Souderton Shopping Center, Care & Share is preparing for an exciting new beginning. The nonprofit thrift organization plans to relocate in 2026 to a larger facility in Harleysville, bringing all of its retail and donation operations together under one roof.

The new location, on the former Harleysville Insurance campus along Route 113, will provide approximately 130,000 square feet of space—more than twice the size of its current location. The expanded facility will include a centralized donation center, improved parking, and a layout designed to make volunteering and daily operations more efficient.

Care & Share has contributed more than $21 million to support the work of Mennonite Central Committee while also helping local families through partnerships with community organizations. Leaders say the move reflects changing volunteer trends and the need for a more practical, collaborative workspace.

A late spring opening is expected, and the organization looks forward to welcoming shoppers, donors, volunteers, and new visitors to its next chapter in Harleysville.

Powering AI Responsibly

It's not just smarter AI, it's smarter infrastructure.

Artificial intelligence is changing the world at an incredible pace, but the next major innovation may not be creating smarter AI—it may be making the technology behind it more efficient.

As conversations continue in Montgomery County about future data centers and the growing demand for computing power, one challenge stands out: energy. AI systems require enormous amounts of electricity, which is driving companies to rethink how these facilities are designed and operated.

Instead of simply building bigger data centers, technology companies are investing in smarter ones. New systems can automatically manage power, reduce waste, and improve cooling, allowing servers to do more while using less energy. The goal is to support the rapid growth of AI without placing unnecessary strain on local power grids.

For businesses and residents alike, this is an important trend to watch. The future of technology won’t just depend on faster computers—it will depend on finding smarter, more sustainable ways to power them. As AI continues to expand, the communities that successfully balance innovation with responsible planning will be the ones best prepared for what’s next.

Momentum Beats Motivation

Keep It Going

Last week, we talked about getting back into the swing of things after taking time to recharge. But here’s the challenge: motivation doesn’t last forever. That’s where momentum takes over.

Momentum is built by showing up, even when you don’t feel like it. One phone call. One workout. One room cleaned. One page read. Those small wins may not seem like much, but they stack up day after day.

Think of pushing a heavy boulder. The first few pushes take the most effort. Once it starts rolling, it becomes easier to keep moving. Life works the same way.

Don’t wait until you feel inspired to take action. Take action first, and inspiration often follows.

This week, choose one important goal and commit to working on it for just 15 focused minutes each day. By the end of the week, you’ll be surprised how far you’ve come—not because you did something extraordinary, but because you kept moving.

Keep digging. The biggest breakthroughs often come just after the moment you feel like stopping.

Tip of The Day

Skip the Crowd at Popular Parks — Try Evansburg State Park's Hidden Trails

While Valley Forge draws the big crowds on weekends, Evansburg State Park in Skippack Township offers over 3,300 acres with equestrian trails, a stocked trout section of Skippack Creek, and wide meadow paths that rarely feel congested. If you're planning an outdoor outing this week, head there on a weekday morning and park at the Skippack Road lot — you'll often have entire trail segments nearly to yourself.

Bonus: the park is free to enter, and the creek-side areas are excellent for young kids to explore safely in shallow water during warmer months. It's one of Montgomery County's most underused outdoor gems, and locals who know it tend to keep it quietly to themselves.
