Severe high winds rocked Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, causing widespread power outages and prompting a flurry of emergency calls.
Between noon Monday and noon Tuesday, emergency officials handled over 100 weather-related incidents, including road blockages and outdoor electrical fires.
As of Tuesday afternoon, about 383 PECO customers remained without electricity. The hardest-hit areas included Whitemarsh, Lower Merion, and Whitpain Townships, with several other communities also impacted.
